Pan-O-Prog Fun!
by posted 06/30/2009

The Lakeville Lacrosse Association is excited to offer some fun opportunities for our members during the annual Pan-O-Prog celebration in Lakeville from July 4-12.  We do need some help though and this is a great way to fulfill your volunteer contract before the end of the season!  Here are a few of the fun options available:

*Pan-O-Prog Food Drive - we are being asked to assist the Park and Rec Department in a food drive for the Community Action Council.   Please respond if you have a large vehicle to help transport food.  The pick up times may be dictated by a particular event or by the amount of donations received so flexibility during this time would work best.

*LLA Booth at the Lakeville Classic Lacrosse Tournament - workers are need to help "man" the booth by selling apparel and giving out information on our association to interested parties.
Saturday, July 11 at LSHS - shifts are from 8:00-noon and noon-4:00
Sunday, July 12 at LNHS - shifts are from 10:00-2:00 and 2:00-6:00

*Pan-O-Prog Parade - the LLA is investigating the possibility of having a "float" in the parade.  We want to showcase lacrosse to the city of Lakeville and your kids can help!  Girls and Boys would need to wear their uniforms and could use their sticks to throw candy (and maybe water balloons?) into the crowd.  We would also need adult volunteers to help with the kids and crowd control.  The parade is Saturday night, July 11, and starts at 5:30.  Adults willing to help from 3:30-5:30 as well as those willing to walk the parade route would be needed.

Please respond to this email with your desired job or shift.  If you have any questions, please contact Joni Canney at or by calling 952-469-5321.
